FIFA abre registro para tener derecho de comprar boletos del primer partido del Mundial 2026
El partido inaugural de la Copa del Mundo 2026 se diputará en el estadio Azteca, el jueves 11 de junio de 2026.

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO (apro).- El partido inaugural de la Copa del Mundo 2026 será el jueves 11 de junio de 2026, en el estadio Azteca, por ello la FIFA (Federación Internacional de Futbol Asociación) anunció el Right to Buy (derecho a comprar) para el primer juego del Mundial, el cual se disputará en la Ciudad de México, en el Estadio Azteca.
Por medio de su cuenta oficial en la red social X (antes Twitter) el organismo máximo organismo del futbol a nivel mundial anunció: “FIFA Collect. ¡Atención fans de todo el mundo! Mañana tendrás la oportunidad de adquirir tus derechos de compra para el partido inaugural del Mundial 2026 en Ciudad de México”.

El Estadio Azteca albergará por tercera ocasión el primer partido de una Copa del Mundo, lo que le convertirá en el primer inmueble en la historia en conseguirlo.
La Copa del Mundo 2026 también marcará un hito, pues será el primer certamen mundialista que contará con 48 selecciones participantes. El formato del certamen contará con 12 grupos de cuatro equipos y avanzarán a los dieciseisavos de final los mejores de cada sector. La final del torneo se celebrará el domingo 19 de julio y se disputará en el Metlife Stadium de Nueva Jersey, en Estados Unidos.
