Por inseguridad, Coca Cola cierra bodega en Morelos

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO (apro).- La empresa refresquera Coca Cola cerró su bodega en Puente de Ixtla, Morelos, lo que fue confirmado por Eduardo Medina Carvajal, presidente de la Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Transformación (CANACINTRA).
La semana pasada, ocho camiones de Coca Cola fueron plagiados en Amacuzac, los productos y el dinero en efectivo fueron robados, además los conductores fueron privados de su libertad por varias horas.
“Con el fin de garantizar la seguridad de nuestros colaboradores, y en respuesta a la situación de inseguridad por la que está pasando la comunidad de Puente de Ixtla en Morelos, en Coca-Cola FEMSA hemos decidido suspender temporalmente nuestras operaciones en los diferentes canales de la zona. Reanudaremos nuestras actividades una vez que las condiciones de seguridad estén aseguradas”, se lee en una presunta comunicación interna de FEMSA en mensajes de WhatsApp, que no han sido confirmados.
De forma pública, ni las autoridades ni la misma empresa han comunicado la situación con respecto a la bodega, pero Medina Carvajal confirmó la información a medios de comunicación. “Desafortunadamente por el tema de seguridad (…) que ha repercutido también en varios sectores, lo que es el tema del cierre de varias empresas”.
El presidente de CANACINTRA lamentó el cierre de empresas en diferentes estados, derivado de la inseguridad y apuntó que es un problema de carácter nacional, no sólo estatal.
Medina Carvajal indicó que aún no se sabe a cuánto asciende el número de trabajadores que quedaron sin empleo y dijo que tendrán que hablar con FEMSA para obtener el dato.
Esta semana, en las carreteras morelenses se pudo observar la salida masiva de camiones de la refresquera. En redes sociales han circulado videos de las largas filas de vehículos.
