Altamira, Tamaulipas.- Con una inversión superior a los 37 millones de pesos, el Gobierno de Tamaulipas, a través de la Secretaría de Obras Públicas (SOP), concluyó los trabajos de rehabilitación y ampliación de la Planta de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales (PTAR) ubicada en Estación Cuauhtémoc, municipio de Altamira.
El titular de la SOP, Pedro Cepeda Anaya, indicó que la obra está concluida al cien por ciento y destacó que se realizaron pruebas de equipos con la presencia del personal de la Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (COMAPA), además de la entrega de material y tubería para el mejor funcionamiento de la PTAR.
“Las labores que se realizaron en este lugar consistieron en la rehabilitación y ampliación de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, así como el sistema de bombeo, desinfección, cisterna de agua tratada e instalación de filtros”, explicó Cepeda Anaya.
Con estas acciones, se recuperará el agua procedente de esta región industrial, eliminando las sustancias contaminantes para darle uso en diversas actividades.
